Digital Strategy, After the Workshop: Thoughts, Gaps & What’s Next

Hi everyone,

Thanks for being here. If you've just come from one of my recent workshops — or caught the live session on YouTube — then you’ll know we’ve been diving deep into digital strategy for social enterprises. This post is a bit of an afterthought (in the best way), a space for me to reflect and share what stuck with me after the session ended.

The energy in the room (real or virtual) was great. What stood out this time was how tuned in people were — from digitally savvy folks to others who are absolute experts in their field but still building up that digital confidence. And that’s exactly why I run these sessions. I want to help bridge that gap.

One thing I realised afterwards: the core ideas in digital strategy haven’t actually changed much over the years, even though the tools and trends have. AI has shifted everything around it, but the foundational questions remain:
🟡 What are we trying to do?
🟡 Why are we doing it?
🟡 What’s the best way to get there with what we’ve got?

And that’s where this conversation becomes less about social media campaigns and more about zooming out, thinking strategically. It’s not just “post this, do that.” It’s: is this part of the bigger picture? Are we tracking it? Is it working?

That level of reflection? It’s hard to do alone. Which is why I always say: let’s talk. If you’re stuck or not sure what direction to go in, drop a comment. I really do reply.

I also want to say thank you to those who asked the hard questions during the session. Real questions about audience growth, impact, funding gaps, and getting realistic about where you’re at. That honesty is gold, and it’s what makes this work meaningful.

Not everything can be solved in one workshop or even a video, but what we can do is shift perspective, reframe ideas, and start to work out what’s next, in a way that fits your capacity, your goals, and your reality.

So if that sounds like something you want more of, or you’ve found value in the way I talk about these things…

Thanks again for being part of this. And if you ever need a second pair of eyes on something you’re stuck with, you know where to find me.

Until next time,
Pritesh
